Justice For Britney.

As we all soak in the reality that the court proceedings are over, I want to say a few things. First, thank you. To the advocates that educated me, like MX_Defying & MelanieVer0nica, Allyn Aston for hosting my Podcast with me in the fall (Stay tuned for season 2: Charlie goes America all over everyones asses.). Thank you all for helping me get more confident in creating content. Most of all I want to thank you. The people that have supported and trusted me, as we navigate this Post-Conservatorship Fandom. You have given such meaning to a part of my life that was once isolating and lonely. Loving Britney Spears is a part of the fabric of who I am, it has been for more than 25 years, and every day my love for her grows Stronger. and I can never repay you all for allowing me to be a part of your lives, advocacy and healing. There are so many resources out there, and I encourage everyone to go back and look again at all the information our community has uncovered. ThatSurpriseWitness (BJ Investigates) was such an important part of this movement from the very beginning. Just last week she posted a video about LoulouTayTay (Which you should absolutely watch immediately) There are so many others, it would be too tough to name them all, and sadly we’ve had a number of people remove themselves and take space from the movement, due to the unbelievable levels of aggression and attacks within the community itself. I would go so far as to say some folks have tried to literally sabotage the movement. If you’ve followed me for a while, you likely know I take breaks for my sanity. I think it’s important to remember that this is a movement, not a race. We are doing just that, making movement, forward progress, though sometimes it’s hard to see it that way. We will get there, together. We will continue pursuing justice, holding Britney’s abusers accountable as well as creating awareness and prevention around abusive conservatorships.

I am relieved that the court proceedings are over, regardless of the results. I hope this will be a true step toward Britney getting some peace in her life. I’ve felt like I was treading water with every court document that I came across, asking myself, “what does all of this mean?!” before even reading any actual words in the document, it’s intimidating. There’s been a lot of confusion on “what does this mean? Did Jamie win? Did she pay his legal fee’s?”

Full Transparency: I am not a lawyer but I have been following this case, checking in with Melanie and HeyGoulia on IG and I think I have some grasp of what is going on.

Firstly, people need to stop reading/listening to TMZ. They report lies, flat out. Britney did not pay Jamie’s legal fee’s and if she did, that is confidential court documents and TMZ does not have the access to that information – it’s not public. TMZ = FALSE

What I do know is that Sloppy-Joe (Aka Alex Weingarten) filed a petition in 2021 that would require BRITNEY THE PERSON – not the estate, but the free’d Britney Spears, should pay his legal fee’s, indefinitely and with no limit on the amounts – which is absolute insanity. Judge Brenda Penny did not initially make a ruling on that petition. This past week, Judge Luna denied the petition, which means Britney is not responsible for those fee’s.

Translation into easy terms: Sloppy asked in 2021 if he could be paid by Britney, it was never decided, until this week. The answer was no.

I also wonder if THAT is why it settled, and perhaps it could be in Britney’s favor. I mean, think about it: Sloppy has been operating under the notion that BRITNEY would possibly be the one to pay him. Of course, this is an unprovable theory, but it would make sense if he gave up on their demands once he found out Britney wouldn’t be stuck with the bill, and a broke Jamie will likely just file for Bankruptcy.

I think people may think I am disappointed, because I had just announced I would do a documentary about the trial. But this documentary is about THE JUSTICE FOR BRITNEY MOVEMENT. How it started, what makes this movement so important and where do we go from here?
