I found some very interesting photographs while perusing @BritneysMystery stories on Instagram. Because of her reporting (I love that account!) I came across the name of the photographer that took the recent snapshots of Lynne Spears, Britney’s Mother. It turns out this one man has taken an incredible amount of Britney paparazzi photos, including the infamous picture of Sam “helping” a completely zombie-fied Britney into a car outside of a treatment facility, which she later testified was against her will. Despite this, Sam insisted at the time she was “doing amazing”. But Britney’s version and Clint Brewer’s photo’s scream a different narrative, but I digress. I find it extremely suspicious that every time the paps appear to be invited into Britney’s life, it seems they had Clint Brewer on speed dial. So, let’s find who this shutterbug is, and how the hell did he get such exclusive access to Britney over and over again?

From what I can find, besides being a Father and a love of Jiu-Jitsu, Clint Brewer has been in the business of stalking celebrities for more than 20 years. As of last year, and I believe currently still, he is based in Los Angeles, CA and has been in the U.S. since 2005, becoming a US citizen 2014. He worked at a local newspaper, “Herts and Essex Observer”, in the UK and after “getting a bit bored with the same cheque presentation every week,” he got involved with the company Big Pictures which started his career as a scumba– excuse me, Paparazzi Photographer. He’s also worked for the company Splash, was a Partner at FinalPixx, and currently his images are syndicated by BackGrid. In an interview, Clint said he tends to “mostly work with one other guy who I’ve know for almost 20 years, we moved to Los Angeles at the same time and started FinalPixx together.” Although we can’t know for sure who he is referring to, Britney once dated FinalPixx photographer, Adnan Ghalib, who is originally from Birmingham, UK. I have to wonder if the connection to Britney’s ex-boyfriend could be a reason Clint Brewer is able to get so close to Britney. He is closely connected to her pap-turned-bf-turned-ex-bf (their relationship ended in 2008, Thank God!) so who knows, he could have somehow connected Clint to Britney’s oppressors after they split. (Their relationship seemed wildly demented, if that isn’t already clear. From his demands that his colleagues respect their privacy to he and Brit taking, selling and then splitting the profits of pictures of the two together.)

Clint took, what is in my opinion, the most troubling picture of Britney’s conservatorship. Easter, 2019, outside a Mental Health Treatment center Brit was forced into. It’s my belief that this intentional photo-op was intended to keep the public from knowing Britney was actively being trafficked at that point by her Father, manager and conservators. More recently, Clint was credited with the snapshots of Lynne arriving to LAX, sitting outside Cade Hudson’s front door and then arriving to Britney’s house.
I am not sure how any of these Paparazzi sleep with a clear conscious. They spend all day, parked outside a woman’s house, like roaches waiting for a crumb to fall on the floor. Let’s hope soon there will be some progress on laws or legislation to better protect artists and entertainers from having their lives destroyed by exploitive stalkers and gawkers, like they have with Britney for more than two and a half decades.

If we are going to stop TMZ, it will take more than just one simple answer, it’s a collective change our society needs to make. People like Clint Brewer are not individually responsible for what has happened to Britney. But our society has enabled, and rewarded, those that have gone way too far in the name of celebrity news. We need stronger privacy laws that protect artists from these unbelievable invasions of privacy. Journalism used to be a respected industry, can we rectify the situation, or is it too late? We need to all work together to hold the media accountable for what it’s covering, and how they go about it. What we need is a cultural shift, as a society we need to respect the privacy of those in the public eye and it needs to happen immediately, before more people like Britney suffer the consequences.
